We map out the content structure, visual hierarchy, and messaging approach before design begins. For longer-form pieces like annual reports or publications, this includes a content outline and editorial plan to ensure the design and content work together from the start.

We develop concepts and design directions for your review. You'll see how the piece will look and feel before it's finalized, with room for feedback and refinement. We work through as many rounds as needed to get it right.

Prepress & Production

We prepare production-ready files to exact printer specifications, with attention to color profiles, bleeds, margins, and file formats. We can manage the print vendor relationship and production process on your behalf, or hand off print-ready files to your preferred printer.

Can you write the content, or do we provide it?

We're primarily a design firm, but we offer content direction and structural guidance as part of our process — and for annual reports and publications, helping shape the content architecture is often part of what we do. For full copywriting, we work closely with your internal team or can refer you to trusted writing partners.

How long does a typical print project take?

It depends on scope and complexity. A single sell sheet or postcard can turn around in 1-2 weeks. A full annual report with multiple stakeholder reviews typically runs 8–12 weeks. We'll give you a realistic timeline during our initial conversation and build in the milestones you need for approvals.

We already have a digital marketing program. How does print fit in?

Print and digital work best when they're designed together. We regularly create print pieces that drive audiences to digital destinations — whether that's a landing page, a campaign URL, or a QR code. We'll design your print materials to complement and reinforce your digital presence, so every touchpoint tells a consistent brand story.

Can you work within our existing brand guidelines?

Absolutely — and we're exceptionally good at it. We apply your brand standards consistently across every print piece, and if your guidelines need updating or expanding for print-specific applications, we can handle that too.

Do you manage print production, or just provide design files?

Both — your choice. We can prepare print-ready files to hand off to your preferred printer, or we can manage the entire print production process on your behalf, including vendor selection, print specification, proofing, and delivery. Many clients prefer to hand production off to us entirely so they have one point of contact from concept through finished piece.
